Some of the most common operations that trigger this error are: •Element.SetParameterByName - try using use the node Element.Parameters to check the parameters in the element. Question: Since the building you picked to focus on has a shop at the corner. I am currently working on a 2D drawing to 3D Model of a corner shop and would love to place that hifi model into a google maps 3D lo fi building for context and surrounding. Any tips on how to proceed with this once I imported everything e.g. to blender ? The Goal would be to basically walk in from the street level into the shop and then get the Idea of how it looks and test out different layouts. I hope you get me. Cheers !

Hi Dev, I just discovered this AAI software, just wondering do I need to sketch the drawing on Prome AI, or do I need to do it on another software. If so, what software can easily do line drawings, I want something simple, that I can draw a scene, such as beach, garden, runway stage, interior etc, and able to draw simple people as well as props in the sketches. In order to use this, the interactive 3D map must already be uploaded to Google, right? I think we will pull this data from there.

Hello, I just found out that Blosm has released an update in wich they support Single Tile Import. It should be now possible to import just a single 3D tile from google 3d, offering greater control over the data. Isn't this the needed replacement for Simplygon?

Doing this on a mac, trying to capture 3d buildings from Reykjavík, very recently added to google maps. These are not importing, instead I'm getting what looks like a ground elevation map. I'm guessing it's something on google's servers rather than on my side, but do tell me if I'm wrong!

I teach design at CSULB, was playing around with it last week and found it really interesting. I used some of my own interior ink sketches, marker renderings sketches, and a blue line speed form style sketch for a piece of furniture. It’s a really interesting addition to the design pipeline. I’m going to play around with the editing options to see about getting the renders closer to some of the intentions, like the window/bookshelf example, but even still, for students it might just ruin them! But I’m hoping it gives them the opportunity to see how learning to sketch an early idea they can quickly see interpretations of their sketch. For ID and Architecture I’m not sure I’ll go back to MidJourney now

When you are removing the building at 21:00 an alternative method that offers some degree of control would be to make a plane shape to match the area you wish to remove, place it directly above the area and in top down view knife project cut. Then you can remove precisely what you want making a clean edge.

I select the area, but it gets 2D. I select Google 3D with buildings with more details. is this not available in Turkey?

Fantastic video! I have one problem though, and that is with Simplygon. Upon entering their website and the download section, I was greeted by a space where I had to enter a serial number. I then tried to sign up for an evaluation, which I never got. A supporter asked me if I was interested in a 10 pack one year subscription for 30000 usd! I said no, but that I would still like to try the evaluation copy, which she didn't send me. So my question to You is if there is another way of getting the mesh together with the textures out of Blender? I am working on a large housing project in Rhino 3D and rendering with D5 Render, and it would be awesome to use this setup with Google Maps 3d data, as a cheaper alternative to drone shots on site. But for 30000 dollars a year, we could hire a drone photographer to take all shots or ever to 3d scan the area himself.
